Spark's Brain Gym resulted from a partnership between Spark Learning and Performance Solutions of India and Scientific Learning Corporation of USA. This collaboration granted access to work by four internationally-renowned neuroscientists — Dr Michael Merzenich, Dr William Jenkins, Dr Paula Tallal and Dr Steven Miller — who have done extensive research for more than 30 years on "How the brain learns".
Their research spans education, neuroscience, brain plasticity, auditory processing, language development, psychology, behavioral algorithms, and multimedia technology.
The initiative comprises two research-based programs: Fast ForWord® and Reading Assistant™. While Fast ForWord® aims at developing the Reading, Language and Cognitive skills in children, Reading Assistant™ helps them improve their fluency in English.
Based on the concept of Brain Plasticity, our programs have more than 80 patents to their credit with over 250 research papers to prove their efficacy.
